Scadenza MiCA del 1 luglio 2026: cosa cambia per gli utenti crypto UE e come proteggere lo storico fiscale

Cosa cambia con MiCA, cosa non cambia per il contribuente, e una checklist per salvare export e cost basis.

MiCA 1 luglio 2026 — CryptoTax Digest

MiCA changed the regulatory status of crypto-asset service providers in the EU. For tax, the urgent job is simpler: keep a complete export trail before platform access or product menus change.

Verifica sempre la specifica entità giuridica nel registro MiCA, non solo il marchio. A platform brand and a licensed legal entity are not the same thing.

What to do first

  • Download account statements and transaction CSV files before moving funds.
  • Save timestamps, txids, order ids, fee lines, fiat values, and support messages.
  • Check the relevant entity in /mica/casps/ or /mica/emts/.
  • Use /platforms/ for export notes and /software/ for tax-software import paths.

Tax-record angle

Your domestic tax rules still decide what is taxable. MiCA does not calculate gains, losses, income, cost basis, or filing obligations. It changes the market-access layer around some providers, which can indirectly change your ability to retrieve evidence.

If a platform winds down, blocks a product, delists a token, or asks for additional verification, build a dated archive: original export, balance screenshot, transaction hashes, correspondence, and the final import/reconciliation report from your software.

Where CTD fits

Use the MiCA registers to verify entities, the platform directory to understand exports, the software directory to import/reconcile, and the cemetery if a venue disappears or stops serving your market.
