1. History reconstruction
Where leftover records may still live.
CSV / statements: Creditor claim filings and trustee communications; historical trade CSVs often only on users’ local exports.
Software: Most tax software cannot re-fetch Mt. Gox history; import any local CSV / claim schedule you kept.
- Rehabilitation distributions may create new taxable events depending on jurisdiction — verify with official guidance / a pro.
- Do not treat claim-token or distribution receipts as a full substitute for missing trade history.
